SA even at 4-0 probably doesn't deserve the top spot in the power rankings. The teams they have beaten, ATL, PHX, and TUL (twice), have a combined record of 1-12. Sorry SA fans, that's not saying too much.

I hear you (except with the PHX part).  But yes SanAn beat Tulsa twice which means nothing. And they beat Atlanta without Angel.  The PHX win last night was a great test for SanAn so you shouldn't put them in this category.  They beat a very good PHX team (yes they are good) on PHX's turf and at their home opener no less.  And it was a game that went down to the final few seconds.

My Connecticut Sun is in an even worse situation than SanAn.   The Sun are at 3-1, which would be a great record, but we've played Tulsa once (the worst offensive and defensive and worst coached team in the league, so that win means nothing) and we've played Washington twice (the second worst offensive and defensive team in the league).  We also played a very good Chicago team and lost.  So what does that tell you about the Sun's record.  It means absolutely nothing!   And were playing Chicago again tomorrow, at home this time where the Sun are much better.  If they beat Chicago tomorrow, I'll breath a little easier.

Pic is me in the middle of Seimone Augustus & Lindsay Whalen. Never thought they'd be teammates when I had this picture taken a few years ago.
