Your right ih8.  It was probably the best thing in the world for Gillom's career to be paired with Geno as his assistant.  I'm sure he can teach her a few things that she can bring back to the WNBA next summer.

If Minnesota can't at least make it to the playoffs this coming season with the 1st and 4th draft picks, then hopefully someone wises up and throws Gillom in the trash once and for all.

Minnesota is the place where ex-uconn players go to die.  (Svetlana Abrosimova, Tamika Williams, Charde Houston, Renee Montgomery, and now probably Tina Charles).

Hopefully Tina will luck out and they won't take her. They already have a couple of good centers, Anosike and Hollingsworth.  Maybe Tina will be lucky out and they will keep Hollingsworth.

There he is!  On the photo about the Lynx winning the lottery right to go 1st...

the Droid assistant, and that is EXACTLY his profile, what he is doing in the photo.

Not with the team

Standing away from everyone with a neutral look on his face.

Not showing any interest in showing support for the Head coach or teammemebers.

Wow, how does an assistant get to act so inappropriately and unprofessionally?

Could it be the front office planted the assist?  In that case, wake up Minnesota, like you just did for your new Men's Professional Head Coach, let the head coach pick their assistants.....that would be competitive!  Wink

True that, rdigusto... but both Pat Coyle and Jenny Boucek were on a losing skid WITH their franchise superstar marquee players ON the floor!

Coach Jennifer was leading the Western Conference... in the #1 spot... when she lost her franchise superstar Seimone Augustus back on June 17th.

And Jennifer managed to keep her team in the playoffs hunt without her team leader and leading scorer... as a rookie coach... who had to guide her young team -- who had NEVER played together before -- through a head coach who abandoned them three days before the start of the season AND losing their team leader to a senseless injury... with a coaching staff she had never met, much less, worked with before this season.

And both Pat Coyle and Jenny Boucek had more than one season to try to deliver a winner... under better circumstances.

Jennifer Gillom has had only this one season... under extreme adversity.

Coach Gillom may very well be a nice lady and a basketball legend in her own right, but her performance this year was just inexcusable, especially the second half where it counted the most; only 3 wins after the All Star Break ?!? She was on par with Coaches Boucek & Coyle, and we all know what happened to them.

Thanks, blame_canada... but you better be concerning yourself with whether Connecticut is going to ditch Mike Thibault's WNBA Championship-anemic self. (lol) (lol)

He deals away the Sun's best players and he missed the playoffs this season... because he had no players left to compete. He gave 'em all away! They're in the playoffs! (lol) (lol)

So, thanks for that vote of confidence, jeebs. But you had better keep it. You're gonna need it. (lol) (lol)

I agree with deo - the league needs a team with a coach who can be outcoached otherwise where the rest of them would get their easy wins?

You tell 'em, jklott!

Roger Griffith... I hope you're listening! Get this one right! Sign Coach Jennifer Gillom to a head coaching contract for next season.

All you arm chair point guards and coaches, Coach Gillam has just been picked by Geno of UCONN and the next Olympic women's coach to assist him.
People that have never played or coached or played have a lot to say. But, those in the trenches (coaches at the most competitive levels) have the last say.
Wake up brass of the Lynx and get Coach Gillam inked asap.
Good luck Coach!

Gillom was worse than don z and that is saying alot. The Lynx did not have a competent coach this year.
