I'm sorry, but I, like Mechelle Voepel and many others, are sick of hearing Candace Parker can play all five positions. Sure, she can play the 3,4,5 positions pretty well, but there's certainly a difference between being able to play the guard position and playing it well (and the same applies to the post positions). Sure, Parker CAN play the point guard position, but would she even come close to how well Taurasi can play it? No. The same applies for the power forward or center position. Taurasi COULD play power forward but compared to Parker, Parker would obviously play better in the post. The point is, Parker doesn't PLAY the guard position, and Taurasi doesn't play in the post, so I think it's kind of irrelevant how many positions each of them can play, because neither of them would be able to play all five of them really well. They are definitely different players, and while I still think that Taurasi is a much, much better player, I think Parker has more room for growth and simply by virtue of being taller and more athletically gifted, Parker would simply be unstoppable if she could develop an outside shot, quickness, leadership abilities, and had the killer instinct that is needed to win and win championships in this league. Parker has yet to come up clutch in any of the pressure playoff situations I have seen her play in and though she is still young, so I don't doubt that she will prove me wrong in the next few years, but for now Taurasi is simply the better player, and it was clear as day when they met in the Western Conference Finals. Ask Magic Johnson.

I thought, despite her pregnancy, Candace Parker played great this year. Next year, especially with Lisa gone and Parker being the focal point on the team, she is going to be a beast and most likely win the MVP award again.

K u guys CP3 didnt live up to the hype dat was surrounding her this year bt u gt 2 remember she was recovering from a pregancy. I dnt kno 2 many players that can have a baby and return and give their team a good shot at the Finals like she did. As for DT she's one of the most complete players in the game she can score 4rm basically anywhere on the floor as 2 who's better it's very hard 2 determine. They have simlar styles of play bt are 2 completely different players. Bt I'm sure we can all agree on one thing it doesnt matter who their playing with if DT or CP3 is on the court their a THREAT!

It's been reported that 77% of the citizens of the United States have driven under the influence of something at one time in their lives. It's a nationwide problem.
How about stop attacking one person for making a mistake and instead, start fighting your congress to make tougher laws.

Better for Taurasi to destroy Parker than innocent people while she's driving drunk....

Parker has all the potential in the world but there are so many super dedicated players to compete against. I think the Sparks should surround Parker with players her age or younger and get rid of their front office people. Start over.

I don´t think that Parker failed as a leader. I think she did the impossible to come back after pregnancy and she gave to her team the chance to fight for the championship when things was going so wrong. She is the guilty of the Sparks improvement of this year and she was getting better numbers as the season progressed. This season was difficult for her and even so she has had a very good performance. She is so young and we will have to wait for next seasons to see what she can do. You can be an excellent player in some positions but if you don´t have enough physical qualities it´s useless in most of the times. Not only playing in the zone, if you are doing a shot or going into the zone up to the basket and you´re a big player, it´s too much difficult to stop you. The taller the better. It´s a big advantage, and mixed with other skills it is definitive. It´s true that so many players complains about fouls and hard play but if you have the same behavior you shouldn´t complain about it when someone uses your own medicine. DT has improved so much last years, now she is much better than she was when she arrived to the wnba. She was already an amazing player in her first year but now she is a star. I say that we have to wait to see what parker will do, but I expect she will be the best. And to play basketball is not only scoring Be sure next year Sparks will be Parkers team. The team is going to be built around Parker and TT will be a good complement. With only one big player you couldn’t have a champion team. I think we´ll never agree about this matter, but it is good and funny to exchange opinions.

It is difficult to tell who is better. They are two different players. Taurasi, i think is better overall, but Candace is a much better post player, but then again that is her position. Diana also has more experience then Candace. Both are very good.
